Planners
Your student should bring home his or her green homework binder nightly. Inside the homework binder you should find the planner and red homework folder. The planner is a way for your child to communicate what homework is to be completed and what events are happening in our classroom.  We will also use this space to communicate about behavior.  Please use this communication from us as a chance to talk to your child about his or her behavior and work choices each week.

Homework
Students should have 30-60 minutes of homework each night. Please check the green binder and planner nightly for homework and notes from us.

Math
(This homework is turned into Mrs. Duncan, Ms. Rozzell and Ms. Saint-Val.)
Homework will reflect the daily math objective. This could include math games, worksheets, brain teasers, and even real world applications. We will be studying addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts this year. The facts to study will vary depending on the time of year. Please reference the planner and weekly blog posts to stay up to date with current facts to be studied. Your child should study facts for at least 5 minutes each night.

Language Arts
(This homework is turned into Ms. Badrak, Mrs. Ford and Mrs. Morphey)
Reading - Your child should read for at least 20 minutes each night. They will be asked to record the title and genre in their planner each night.
